Forecasters predicted light rain in Moscow on August 20

Cloudy with some clarifications, light rain, moderate in places — such weather awaits residents of the capital region on Wednesday, August 20. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from +21 to +23 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to +11.

In the Moscow region, it will be from +19 to +24 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to +8.

Westerly and southwesterly winds with a speed of 7-12 m/s are expected.

The atmospheric pressure will be 741 mmHg.

The heat in Central Russia will return only at the end of August and will remain at the beginning of September, meteorologists believe.

Earlier, on August 19, the Meteonosti news agency reported that it was not worth counting on the continuation of summer in September. At the same time, forecasters did not rule out that a short warm weather is possible in early autumn.

Prior to that, on August 18, Alexander Shuvalov, head of the Meteo forecasting center, said that heavy rains were not expected in the next two days. According to his forecast, heavy precipitation will come only on Thursday, when, together with the cold front, the temperature will drop from +19...+21 to +17 degrees.
