At least 71 people have died in a bus accident in Afghanistan.
71 people were killed in a collision between a bus, a motorcycle and a truck in Herat province in Afghanistan. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on August 19.
"An accident in the western province of Herat in Afghanistan on Tuesday evening killed 71 people, including 17 children," the publication says.
It is noted that there were deported migrants in the passenger bus, who were transported to Kabul. After the collision, a fire started in the vehicle.
Earlier, on August 16, 18 people died as a result of a bus falling from a bridge into a river in the Algerian district of Harash. It is specified that 25 ambulances, 16 divers and four boats were involved in the aftermath.
