The United States will discuss with Russia acceptable security guarantees for Ukraine. On August 19, White House press Secretary Caroline Leavitt told reporters.
"He [US President Donald Trump] instructed his team to develop a draft security guarantee that would be acceptable in order to ensure long—term peace and end this conflict," Leavitt replied to a question about providing security guarantees to Ukraine.
