Defender Ilya Samoshnikov has signed a contract with Spartak football club. The relevant information was posted on the team's official website on August 19.

"The Red and White have agreed with Moscow's Lokomotiv on the terms of the transfer of defender Ilya Samoshnikov to our club," the statement said.

It is noted that the player took the 14th number in the team. The contract is for three years with an option to extend it for another season.

Samoshnikov has been playing for Lokomotiv since July 2023. In the 2024/25 season, the 27-year-old Russian played 33 matches, in which he scored four goals and made four assists, Sport-Express adds.

"In addition to his versatility, Samoshnikov is distinguished by his high speed and unyielding character. In addition, our rookie is known for throwing the ball far out and more than once he started scoring attacks of his teams," the message added.
