And from the beginning of 2026, families with two or more children will be able to receive new support - a refund of a portion of the personal income tax paid.

In conversation with aif.ru On Tuesday, August 19, the specialist explained that the maternity allowance will be equal to 100% of the subsistence level of the working-age population in the region, and not the amount of the scholarship. Depending on the length of the vacation, the amount will range from 80 to 110 thousand rubles.

Starting in 2026, families with two or more children will be able to repay a portion of their personal income tax annually if their average per capita income does not exceed one and a half subsistence levels. The amount of the refund will depend on the number of children: for two — up to 91 thousand rubles for both parents, for three — up to 114 thousand, for four — up to 137 thousand.

The right to a standard child tax deduction is also retained, and from 2025 its amount for the third and subsequent children has been increased to 6 thousand rubles. The family capital has also been indexed: now it amounts to 690 thousand rubles for the first child and 912 thousand rubles for the second and subsequent children.
