Demand for car hauling services from abroad has increased in Russia

In June-July 2025, the demand for car transportation from abroad in Russia increased by 14% compared to April-May of the same year. In the summer, Russians were more often looking for specialists who were ready to drive a car from one country to another, Avito Services experts told Izvestia on August 19.

At the same time, the demand for moving cars between cities increased by 34%, and the number of available offers increased 5.3 times.

Positive dynamics was observed in the field of car delivery between cities and countries by car carriers. Russians were 5% more likely to search for transportation of cars between cities, and the number of offers increased by 57% in the summer. This suggests that the transportation market as a whole is experiencing an active seasonal upswing, experts explained.

They noted that the demand for car hauling services both between cities and from abroad is traditionally growing in summer. The fact is that it is safer to travel long distances during long daylight hours and warm weather — there are no reagents and ice on the road. In addition, at this time, car dealerships are recruiting cars for the autumn market — all this stimulates an increase in demand for the work of carriers.
