Putin appointed Tararov ambassador to Mozambique after a similar post in Angola
On August 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Vladimir Tararov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mozambique and the Kingdom of Eswatini concurrently, according to decrees posted on the official website of the legal acts.
"I appointed Tararov Vladimir Nikolaevich Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Mozambique," the document says.
According to another decree, the President of the Russian Federation appointed the diplomat as the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Eswatini concurrently.
In addition, it follows from another document dated August 18 that Tararov was relieved of his duties as Russian ambassador to Angola and Sao Tome and Principe.
"To release Tararov Vladimir Nikolaevich from his duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Angola and concurrently to the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe," the decree says.
Earlier, on July 29, Putin appointed Denis Gonchar as Russia's ambassador to Belgium. Also on July 15, Sergei Ganju became the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Singapore. By another decree, Putin released Nikolai Kudashev.
