An eight-year-old child died on an air ride in Bulgaria
In the area of the city of Nessebar in Bulgaria, an eight-year-old child died riding an aerial attraction. This was reported on August 18 by NOVA.
It is specified that the boy made his flight with his mother at the resort during parasailing. The cause of the tragedy was a broken cable. According to the newspaper, the boy fell into the water from a height of about 40 m. Rescuers were able to bring him to land, but he later died. The mother was not injured.
"Three people were detained in the case for up to 72 hours. Pre—trial proceedings have been initiated," the publication says.
In Budva, Montenegro, on May 29, a 19-year-old Serbian tourist fell to her death due to the fact that her parachute unfastened during parasailing. It was clarified that she was then taken by boat to the city pier, where the ambulance crew was only able to record the time of death.
