More than 20 children were poisoned in a camp in Bashkiria
22 children were poisoned in a children's camp in the Sterlibashevsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan. This was announced on August 18 by the Minister of Health of the region, Airat Rakhmatullin, in his Telegram channel.
"Last night, 25 patients were admitted to the Sterlitamak infection center at once. These are vacationers and counselors of one of the children's camps in Sterlibashevsky district. Of these, there are 22 children and three adults," he wrote.
Rakhmatullin clarified that after examination and assistance, nine people were released home. Another 16 people were hospitalized. Their condition is assessed as moderate, and the patients' well-being is improving.
The causes of poisoning are not specified.
On July 26, an outbreak of acute intestinal infection among children was detected in the Yuri Gagarin children's health camp in the Engels district of the Saratov region. It is noted that samples of drinking water, pool water, raw materials and ready meals were taken for the study.
