Three people were killed as a result of a bus overturning on the Northern Marble Highway in Istanbul. This was announced on August 18 by the TRT Haber TV channel.
According to the publication, the accident occurred at about 06:15 (coincides with Moscow time). The vehicle was traveling from Tokat to Tekirdag. The driver lost control and crashed into the guardrail.
"According to preliminary data, three people were killed in the accident," the article says.
It is specified that 20 more passengers were injured. They were taken to the nearest hospitals for medical treatment. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
Earlier, on July 21, four people were killed and 40 injured when a passenger bus overturned in the Dominican Republic. It was clarified that some of the victims were hospitalized, some patients were in serious condition.
