The Uragan MLRS crews destroyed armored vehicles and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Calculations of the Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad group of forces destroyed armored vehicles and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and disrupted the rotation of enemy units in the area of the special military operation. This was announced on August 18 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Aerial reconnaissance revealed a large concentration of Ukrainian troops and equipment. Target location coordination was directed to the gunners. The crew of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system, having received a tip, moved into position.

After targeting the combat vehicle, all detected targets were successfully hit. Fire correction and confirmation of destruction were carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which transmitted data in real time to the command post. At the end of the shooting, the Uragan crews changed positions to avoid a retaliatory strike.

"We are working on both manpower and enemy firepower. <...> Each time there are different goals, different achievements," said the senior MLRS gunner with the call sign Mukha.

On August 16, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the calculation of the Msta-B howitzer of the 27th Guards Artillery Regiment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hit the M777 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was clarified that the calculation worked out quickly, as a result of which the howitzer was destroyed.
