Repair of European cars in Russia has risen in price by 26% over the year

The cost of repairing European cars in Russia has increased by an average of 26% over the year, the All-Russian Union of Insurers told Izvestia. Since August 2024, insurance payments for such cars have amounted to 43.5 billion rubles. According to the Fresh marketplace, CTP expenses increased by 31.8% to 173.3 thousand rubles.

According to experts, the growth varies from 25 to 65%, depending on the spare parts and the supply chain. The most expensive cases involve parallel imports through Turkey or Kazakhstan. The main reasons for the price increase are the shortage of qualified specialists after the departure of European brands and the increase in prices for parts.

According to Sovcombank of Insurance, components have risen in price by 20-30%, and for premium brands — sometimes twice. Urgent deliveries also increase the price. Cost reduction is not expected in the near future. On the contrary, analysts predict further growth of 5-10% by the end of 2025.
