A girl died as a result of a sculpture falling on her in the Saratov region.

In the Saratov region, a girl died as a result of a sculpture falling in a park. This was reported on August 17 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the region.

"In the Maxim Gorky City Park of Culture and Recreation, a decorative wooden sculpture fell on a young girl," reads a message posted on the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the girl died of her injuries on the spot. Police officers are conducting an inspection.

On August 17, the SU IC of the Perm Territory reported the death of two ten-year-old boys as a result of falling logs in the village of Lyamino. A criminal case has been opened into the fatal injury of two minors on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence to two persons").
