The Google Gemini neural network has started operating in Russia
The Google Gemini artificial intelligence-based neural network has started working for free in Russia. The Izvestia correspondent was convinced of this on August 16.
At the moment, the reason for lifting the restrictions is unknown, but Russian users can now use the web version and the neural network application.
Previously, when trying to log into an account from the territory of the Russian Federation, users saw a notification that the service was not functioning in this region.
On August 7, OpenAI introduced a new generation of its neural network, GPT—5, thanks to which users will receive more accurate reasoning. According to the developers, the updated version of the neural network is equipped with extended long-term memory and gives errors in responses much less often.
