Messenger MAX topped the ratings of Google Play and AppStore

On August 15, the MAX messenger became the leader among free applications in the Russian segments of Google Play and AppStore stores.

On Google Play, MAX received a score of 4.6 based on user reviews, and on the AppStore, the messenger's rating was 4.4.

The top free apps on the AppStore also include the Google Meet video calling service and various VPN services. In addition to MAX, VPN services and the Imo video calling app are also among the leaders on Google Play.

Machine learning technologies have been introduced in the new product to improve call quality.

On August 6, Alexander Khaminsky, head of the Law Enforcement Center in Moscow and the Moscow Region, said that from September 1, the mandatory pre-installation of the MAX messenger on all new smartphones in Russia will begin.

Prior to that, on June 30, the service's press service reported that the first million users had signed up for the MAX platform. The largest number of users is located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Krasnodar. It is noted that of the total number of users, the mobile version of Android accounts for 75%, and iOS - 23%.
