The level of trust of Russians in Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a survey conducted from August 4 to August 10, is 78.3%. This was confirmed on August 15 by the data of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).

Thus, 78.3% of the survey participants responded positively to the question of trust in the head of state, while the level of approval of the president's activities increased by 0.8 percentage points and reached 75.1%.

The survey participants also appreciated the activities of the Russian government — more than half (50.7%) of the respondents approve of it. 51.8% of respondents positively assessed the work of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, and the level of trust, according to the survey, was 60%.

The study was conducted among 1.6 thousand adult citizens of the Russian Federation.

In January, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the Russian president enjoys enormous popular support. Then VTsIOM and FOM presented the results of surveys that demonstrated the level of trust in the Russian leader at 78.3 and 79%.
