MLRS Grad crews destroyed a cluster of Armed Forces personnel in the DPR

Calculations of BM-21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) of the Kostroma Guards Artillery Regiment of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Forces destroyed a cluster of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near the settlement of Nikolaevka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on August 15.

It is specified that Russian intelligence officers found the Ukrainian Armed Forces militants in a wooded area near the village of Nikolaevka to the west of Chasova Yar and transmitted the coordinates to the gunners.

After that, the MLRS crews quickly moved to firing positions and covered the indicated squares with an accurate volley of rocket packs, destroying the enemy infantry. After that, the airborne assault groups entered the stronghold and cleaned it up. When the task was completed, the gunners changed positions.

"There is enough work. We work mainly on different infantry groups, different platoon strongpoints, according to different UAV calculations and on light armored vehicles," said the commander of the jet platoon with the call sign Festival.

On August 14, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the crew of an army aviation helicopter Mi-28NM destroyed the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were located in a wooded area in the area of responsibility of the Center group of forces.
