The participants of the upcoming two—day festival "D.K. Gorbunova — legend of Russian rock" promise many surprises for their audience - the masters of this genre, along with hits that they listened to on cassettes, will present unexpected duets, premieres, and cover versions. As the Izvestia correspondent reported on August 14, a secret guest is also expected to speak, whose name the organizers will reveal at the last moment.

Just heavy rock and non-stop rehearsals. Bakhyt-Kompot is preparing for two major events at once. Soon the band will perform at the festival "D.K. Gorbunova — legend of Russian rock", and after that will celebrate a double anniversary: the 35th anniversary of the band and the 65th anniversary of their leader Vadim Stepantsov. Rock provocateurs are preparing a real bomb for their performance at the Gorbushka.

"They made a cover of the old song "Atomic Bomb". The song was renamed "Smoke, make up and get off this fucking planet." A wonderful young punk artist, Pika, will probably come on stage with us," Vadim Stepantsov, the leader of the Bakhyt-Kompot group, told Izvestia journalist Sergey Khaidarov.

For the first time, the band "Kipelov" will perform at the Gorbunov Recreation Center — Legend of Russian Rock. For them, this scene has long been their home. Vyacheslav Molchanov, a member of the band, auditioned for the band in the Gorbushka.

"We had a rehearsal base there. There were very significant concerts that took place at the Gorbunov Recreation Center, but we have never played at the festival, as if it were open-air, so we can say this is the first time for us," said band leader Valery Kipelov.

Performing on this stage has always been, if not the dream, then the goal of all Russian rockers. The "humpback" gave rise to trends. Music, shows, and crazy performances.

"I remember that one very well-known person in informal circles jumped into the crowd, yes, but the crowd did not yet know what it was. They politely made way for him, and he fell to the floor," recalls Valery Skorodad, the leader of the Mongol Shuudan group.

This year, Gorbunov's Recreation center features the entire palette of heavy music, an interweaving of styles from hardcore to indie rock. Elena Jaya will perform at the festival for the first time and is ready to surprise with her unique female vocals. Creative experiments and unexpected duets — this is how "Gorbushka" will appear before the audience.

"We will try, of course, in Gorbushka not only to show our roots, what we had. This year, we, Va-Bank, have planned one special issue," said Alexander F. Sklyar, the leader of the Va—Bank group.

The best of the best will appear on the stage. "Agatha Christie", "Crematorium", "Alice" and many others.

"We also have a secret guest, whom we will announce two weeks before the festival. This artist has not performed at the festival yet, and he has not had a solo concert at the Gorbunov Recreation Center," said Alexey Larin, producer of the festival.

Singer Elena Jaya shared with Izvestia on August 14 that the invitation to perform at the legendary festival "DC Gorbunova — legend of Russian Rock" on August 31 was a real challenge for her. According to her, the musicians there get the opportunity to "combine the incompatible" and return to a vibrant format.
