- The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation told about the exploits of Russian servicemen in the zone of their
On August 14, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian military personnel in the area of a special military operation.
The ministry noted the actions of Corporal Dmitry Zimalyukin, who during his military service carried out tasks to deliver ammunition and food to the areas of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Traveling by car, he transported supplies to the front lines of the Russian Federation. During the task, the corporal's transport was attacked by an FPV drone of Ukrainian militants. Zimalyukin skillfully maneuvered the vehicle away, and the drone chasing him crashed into the ground and detonated, as a result of which the corporal's car was damaged.
Despite the danger of a repeat attack, Zimalyukin repaired the car and successfully completed the task. Thanks to his professional actions, the Russian military received the cargo on time.
In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry drew attention to the actions of Guard Senior Sergeant Oleg Batyrev, who, while on combat duty at an air surveillance post, discovered an FPV drone approaching the positions of the Russian Armed Forces.
He reported this to his superiors and was given the task of destroying the drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Batyrev destroyed the target with his personal small arms. Thanks to his precise actions, possible losses among the personnel of the Russian units were avoided.
On August 13, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the calculations of the FPV drones of the Rubicon Advanced Unmanned Technology Testing Center hit equipment, communication systems, as well as temporary deployment points (LDPE) with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
