German political scientist, senior researcher at the IMEMO RAS. Primakov Alexander Kamkin expressed the opinion that Europe and Ukraine could stage a military provocation, including in the waters of the Baltic Sea, before the meeting of US President Donald Trump with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Kamkin pointed out that they are already acting in this way, making statements about their sworn commitment to support Kiev "to the last European." The expert added that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky would be promised more ammunition and funding so that he would disrupt any possible agreements between the Russian Federation and the United States.

"We can expect a military provocation from Ukraine — attempts by enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter the territory of the Bryansk and Kursk regions, or some kind of provocation in the Baltic Sea, and the ears of the British will already be sticking out," the political scientist said.
