Sweden's Duplantis has set a world record in pole vault for the 13th time.
Two-time Olympic champion Armand Duplantis has updated the pole vault world record for the 13th time. The athlete updated his achievement on August 12 at the Istvan Dulai Memorial in Budapest.
The Swedish athlete scored a score of 6.29 m. Duplantis is a two—time Olympic champion, he has won the World Championships twice and the European Championships three times.
The athlete set the previous world record (6.28 m) in June at the Diamond League stage in Stockholm.
Last August, Duplantis set a record by breaking the bar at a height of 6.26 m at a tournament in Silesia (Poland). The previous world record (6.25 m) was also set by Duplantis at the Paris Olympics.
