- The CEO of "SMI2" spoke about the expansion of the "Green Button" application to the regions
The possibilities of the "Green Button" application for tourists will be expanded to new Russian regions. This was announced on August 12 by Yuri Belousov, CEO of the news aggregator SMI2.
According to him, the Green Button application in the consortium with the Special Protected Natural Areas of Russia (SPNA) has received two grants for the digitalization of protected areas in the Kaluga and Vladimir regions.
"This means that the application's capabilities will be expanded to new regions, and tourists will get more opportunities on a single digital platform," Belousov said.
He also added that the application is panicking to launch a section with publications of useful and interesting travel content in Russia.
In addition, the press service of SMI2 reported that Kamchatka nature reserves have increased the tourist flow to a number of natural parks by one and a half times thanks to the "Green Button", as it simplifies ticket purchase and route planning in natural areas.
On July 22, Yandex Travel analysts told Izvestia that beauty tourism in Russia is booming: more and more people are combining travel with wellness, choosing unusual spa treatments in different parts of the country. This format of recreation is especially relevant in the summer, when you want not only to change the environment, but also to improve your well-being.
