Two people died in a head-on car collision in Karelia

In Karelia, in the Pryazhinsky district, on 364 km of the Kola federal highway, two cars collided head-on, resulting in two deaths and two more injuries. This was announced on August 12 by Oleg Polyakov, Chairman of the regional State Committee for Security.

"At about 15:30 near the village of Svyatozero on 364 km of the federal highway Kola, two cars collided head—on," Polyakov wrote on the Telegram channel.

According to him, two men died as a result of the incident. In particular, a woman and a child were injured, their condition is assessed as serious.

Earlier that day, two cars collided on the Vologda–Medvezhegorsk highway in the Vologda Region, resulting in three deaths. It was noted that the Mitsubishi car drove into the oncoming lane, where it collided with a Lada car with a trailer moving towards it.
