The Deputy Prosecutor General of Finland has filed charges against the crew of the Eagle S oil tanker in the case of damage to sea cables between Finland and Estonia on December 25 last year. This was reported on August 12 by the Finnish edition of Yle.

It is specified that charges of intentionally causing especially large-scale damage and intentional disruption of telecommunications have been brought against the captain, as well as his first and second assistants.
