Employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia detained an agent of the Ukrainian special services after preventing an attempt to undermine a high-ranking specialist of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. This was announced on August 12 by the FSB Public Relations Center.

It is specified that he planned to detonate a car with 60 kg of explosives at the moment when an employee of the Ministry of Defense would have passed nearby. The Ukrainian agent was detained on the M-4 highway in the Rostov region.
