A child died in an accident with an excavator in the Jewish Autonomous Region.
In the Jewish Autonomous Region (EAO), an accident involving an excavator occurred, resulting in the death of a boy born in 2020. This was announced on August 12 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.
It is specified that the driver of the Suzuki Wagon car, moving along the Amur federal highway in the direction of Khabarovsk, incorrectly choosing the speed of movement, collided with a working excavator.
"As a result of the accident, the Suzuki driver and passengers received injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized in a medical facility, where a minor passenger born in 2020 died from his injuries," the press service said in a Telegram channel.
Specialists are working at the scene. Additional circumstances of the incident are being established.
On August 11, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in North Ossetia reported that two people were killed and two more injured in an accident on the federal highway Kavkaz. It is noted that as a result of the accident, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz S500 car and his passenger died at the scene of the accident before the ambulance arrived.
