Russian military personnel of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a tank and an armored combat vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on August 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that the tank was hit by an FPV drone, as a result of which the combat vehicle was immobilized. After that, the operator of the Lancet barrage ammunition finished off the vehicle, thereby causing the detonation of the ammunition.

In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry noted that Russian motorized infantry units in the Yuzhnodonets direction tracked down and burned the Ukrainian militants' armored personnel carrier, destroying it with a direct hit.
