An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 was recorded in Kamchatka. On August 11, the press service of the Kamchatka branch of the Federal Research Center "Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences" reported on the Telegram channel.

According to seismologists, the epicenter was located 347 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the center lay at a depth of 41.5 km. There has been no information about his sensitivity yet.
