The farewell ceremony for Russian theater director Yuri Butusov will take place in Moscow. This was announced on August 10 by his widow Maria.

"Farewell in Moscow. [There will be] a cremation," she clarified in an interview with TASS.

The date of the farewell is still unknown. Maria clarified that the funeral will be held in St. Petersburg.

Butusov died at the age of 64 earlier that day. Kirill Krok, director of the Vakhtangov Theater, said that the director drowned on vacation in Bulgaria with his wife and children.
