An apartment building was damaged during the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhia region

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) subjected the town of Vasilyevka in the Zaporizhia region to massive artillery fire, and an apartment building was damaged. This was announced on August 10 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"There is a massive artillery bombardment from the AFU of the city of Vasilyevka. An apartment building, the surrounding area, and cars along Teatralnaya Street were damaged," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to him, at the moment there is a danger of repeated strikes. To date, there has been no information about the victims.

Russian troops have liberated significant territories, putting the Ukrainian Armed Forces in danger of losing strategically important cities.

On August 9, a civilian was killed in a Ukrainian drone attack in the Zaporizhia region. Balitsky noted that the strike was carried out on private households in the village of Verkhnyaya Krinitsa, Vasilyevsky municipal District.
