Russian gymnast Maria Roslyakova has set a record by performing at the North Pole for the first time in the world. This became known on August 8.

On July 7, an artistic gymnast in a classic athlete's swimsuit performed programs with a ribbon, ball and clubs on a special carpet so as not to slip during the performance.

"Since August 5, her performance has been registered in the Russian Register of Records, as well as in the Interrecord international Book of Records as an achievement in the Official Excellence category," Sport-Express reported.

Earlier, on June 11, the Russian Gymnastics Federation announced the return of Russian athletes and coaches to the world stage. Athletes from the Russian Federation will compete at the 2025 Trampoline World Cup in Portugal, Germany, Bulgaria and France. In addition, Russian athletes are scheduled to participate in the trampoline World Championships and the World Championships. Judges from Russia are also allowed to participate in world competitions.
