Pashinyan and Aliyev sign declaration on peaceful settlement of the conflict

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev have signed a declaration on the peaceful settlement of the conflict. This became known on August 8 following a meeting of the leaders with US President Donald Trump at the White House.

In addition, the American side announced the lifting of restrictions on military cooperation with Azerbaijan.

"We are also lifting restrictions on defense cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States," Trump said.

It is noted that during the meeting, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev agreed to end the confrontation and resume diplomatic relations.

American companies are expected to develop infrastructure in both countries. The United States is ready to invest significant funds in the project, Trump said.
