Traffic through the Adler automobile checkpoint on the border with Abkhazia is functioning normally again. This was reported on Friday, August 8, in Rosgranstroy.

"Due to the cancellation of the threat of an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles, traffic through the Adler automobile checkpoint has resumed," the department's Telegram channel said.

Traffic restrictions at the Psou checkpoint on the border of Abkhazia with Russia have also been lifted, the republic's State Security Service (SSS) reported. They were introduced earlier on Friday amid the threat of UAV attacks.

Traffic through the Adler checkpoint was suspended earlier on August 8 due to the threat of an attack by Ukrainian drones on the territory of the resort Sochi. The warning about the danger was canceled around 16:00 Moscow time.

A day earlier, as a result of the fall of UAV debris between the Velichkovka and Angelinskaya stations in the Krasnodar Territory, the movement of seven passenger trains was delayed.
