The Russian Post announced the complete security of customer funds.

Russian Post customers will not suffer due to the robbery of one of the branches in Moscow, where the attackers stole almost 5 million rubles. On August 8, Izvestia was informed about this by the company's press service.

"Despite the incident, we will fulfill all our obligations to our customers on time and in full. The funds operated by Russian Post are insured," the organization explained.

The press service stressed that the employees of the post office were not injured. The company provides assistance to law enforcement agencies.

Earlier that day, almost 5 million rubles were stolen during a robbery of a post office on Medikov Street in the Tsaritsyno district of Moscow. It was noted that two unidentified men, wearing masks, and threatening an employee with an object structurally similar to a pistol, stole money, and then disappeared.
