Metropolitan traffic police will conduct a raid on motorcyclists
Next Friday and weekend, August 8-10, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate will hold a preventive event "Motorcycle safety" on the roads of Moscow. The agency announced this on August 7 in its Telegram channel.
The State Traffic Inspectorate said that the main purpose of this event is to prevent traffic violations by drivers driving motorcycles, mopeds, pit bikes and ATVs, including minors. During the raid, traffic police officers will check the availability of necessary documents from motor transport drivers, conduct preventive conversations about strict compliance with traffic regulations, and also remind them of the importance of using protective equipment.
The Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate stressed that special attention during this raid will be paid to identifying minors driving motor vehicles without a driver's license.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that fraudsters were sending fake letters about fines to Russians, allegedly on behalf of the State Traffic Inspectorate. A PDF file is attached to the letter, issued under an official decree. It may contain the person's real name, car number, or other personal information.
All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
