Air defense systems shot down eight British Storm Shadow (SCALP) cruise missiles. This was announced on August 7 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"Eight UK—made Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles and a guided aerial bomb were shot down by air defense systems," the ministry said in a statement.
