In Gaza, 20 people were killed when a humanitarian aid truck crashed
A total of 20 Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured after an aid truck overturned into a crowd surrounding it in the Gaza Strip. This was reported on August 6 by the WAFA agency, citing doctors.
According to the newspaper, the accident occurred at a time when a large number of hungry people gathered to receive humanitarian aid.
It is specified that the truck overturned due to the fact that it was forced to drive along an unsuitable road destroyed by Israeli strikes, and when it was surrounded by Palestinians, it could not resist and overturned.
Since July 27, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced a daily humanitarian pause in the fighting in the Gaza Strip. The pause will be applied in areas where the Israeli army does not conduct operations, in particular in Al-Mawasi, Deir al-Balakha and Gaza.
On August 4, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the total number of deaths from starvation amid the blockade of Gaza had increased to 180 people.
