Four people were killed in an explosion in the Kurkinsky district of the Tula region. This was announced on August 6 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SU TFR) of the region in its Telegram channel.

"According to preliminary data, on the evening of August 05, 2025, four men were killed near one of the private houses in Kurkino as a result of the detonation of an explosive device," the report said.

It is noted that a criminal case has been opened.

Earlier, on July 25, an explosion occurred in a multi-storey building in Saratov. As a result of the incident, seven people were killed, including a child. A regional state of emergency has been declared in the Saratov region.
