The Cloud Cities Technological Progress Festival will open on August 14 at the new campus of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The program includes career guidance workshops, multimedia shows and lectures, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
The festival will be held for a month. "There are more than 200 events planned in total. Participants will get acquainted with promising professions, the possibilities of using artificial intelligence and other modern solutions in the urban environment," said Sergunina.
The lectures will be conducted by architects, programmers, scientists, entrepreneurs, engineers, cultural scientists and urbanists. Participants of the master classes will be able to gain practical skills in various fields, from video game development and audio design to the film industry.
The venue will also host an exhibition of works by contemporary artists. Among the exhibits are installations created using multimedia technologies.
The event will be part of the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030", dedicated to innovation and development of the megacity.
The new Bauman Moscow State Technical University campus was opened in September last year. The complex includes 14 buildings with a total area of about 170 thousand square meters. m. There are research laboratories, a multifunctional educational and leisure center, and a complex of dormitories for students.
