The victim of an accident in the Tula region told about elderly people who fell through the windows

Among the victims of the bus accident in the Tula region were elderly people, some of them fell out through the windows on impact. Alexander Zaitsev, one of the passengers, told Izvestia about this on August 5.

According to him, the bus was traveling at a fairly high speed, about 100 km/h.

"Then the driver shouted obscenities and turned the steering wheel to the left, and the tail of the bus began to drift to the right, it turned, just where I was. All the people fell on me, someone immediately flew out through the glass. A lot of elderly people who were there, the glass shattered, so they, as they say, flew through the glass," said the man.

He noted that the passengers were promised financial compensation after the incident, but he did not know the details. According to Zaitsev, he was not seriously injured: the passenger was given medical attention, and he went on watch.

The collision of a passenger bus in the Tula region became known earlier that day. It was noted that the accident occurred on the highway M-4 "Don", there were 50 people on the bus. Later, the Ministry of Health reported that 39 people were injured in the accident, 35 of them were hospitalized. A criminal case has been opened into the incident.
