The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has declared the British NGO Zimin Foundation undesirable in Russia. This was announced on August 5 by the press service of the department.

"The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has decided to recognize the activities of the non—governmental organization Zimin Foundation as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation," the department's Telegram channel says.

They noted that the organization was established in 2023 in the UK. It clarifies that along with the stated goals of supporting science and education, the foundation provides financial and informational assistance to individuals and organizations involved in extremist activities and terrorism.

"Against the background of a special military operation, ZF activists announced their unconditional support for the Ukrainian neo—Nazis and intensified their anti-state rhetoric," the ministry added.

On the eve of August 4, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation added the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation to the list of undesirable organizations. It is noted that the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation adopted the relevant decision on July 15.
