In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a worker died during the construction of a residential complex

One worker died during construction work on Aerovokzalnaya Street in Krasnoyarsk. This was announced on August 5 by the press service of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia.

It is specified that the incident occurred on the evening of August 4. A 23-year-old construction worker fell from a height of the 17th floor while working on a concrete bucket attached to a construction crane. According to the agency, he poured concrete on the upper floors of the building, but later the retaining mechanism stopped working, and the bucket began to fall. The man couldn't resist falling down.

"As a result of the injury, the worker died at the scene," reads a message posted on the Telegram channel.

As a result of the incident, a criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 2 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of safety rules during construction work, resulting in the death of a person by negligence"). It is noted that the deceased was a foreign citizen.

The department also added that as a result of the incident, an inspection of the scene was carried out, and technical documentation was seized. The circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

On July 24, it was reported that three workers died at a construction site in southern Moscow. According to preliminary data, two workers fell into a 5 m deep well with methane and lost consciousness. Another worker went to rescue his colleagues and also stayed at the bottom. Rescuers arrived and retrieved the bodies of the dead from the well.
