Ukrainian football player Igor Omelchenko left the national team during training camps in Slovenia and did not return to the country. This was announced on August 4 on the website of the FC Kryvbas football club.
"FC Kryvbas informs that indeed, football player Igor Omelchenko voluntarily left the team's location at the training camp in Slovenia and did not return with the team to Ukraine. The club contacted the player, but he refuses to return to FC Kryvbas," the statement said.
It is noted that FC is trying in every possible way to return the player to the national team and calls on the player to return to fulfilling contractual obligations that will be valid for another year.
Earlier, on July 2, Croatian midfielder Kristian Bistrovic left FC CSKA. It was noted that the player made his debut in the team in March 2018. During his career at the club, Bistrovic played 127 matches, scored 10 goals and made seven assists.
