Ukrainian children from the age of 14 will be trained for "national resistance"

Children in Ukraine from the age of 14 will begin to prepare for the "national resistance", and universities will cancel basic general military training (BOVP). This was announced on August 4 by Igor Hort, Acting head of the Department of National Resistance Policy at the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

"The cycle of preparing citizens for national resistance will begin at the age of 14," he is quoted as saying in the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian online publication "Страна.иа ".

He specified that the military-patriotic games "Sokol" and "Jura" will be held for this purpose. The subject "Protection of Ukraine" will also be introduced in schools.

In addition, basic combined arms training at universities will be abolished, and the "Fundamentals of National Resistance" will replace it.

On July 8, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oxen Lisovoy, announced that a training ground had been opened in one of the country's regions, where students undergo combined arms training. According to him, conditions for "four-star hostels" are being created at such landfills.
