The world is changing rapidly, and with it the labor market. Robots, algorithms, neural networks are already a part of everyday life. Roman Yerkhov, CEO of TuBi recruiting company, told Izvestia on August 5 how to remain competitive and stay in the profession in the next 10-20 years.

"The main secret is constant learning. Not abstract and theoretical, but applied and practical. Russian companies are already ready to pay more to those who know how to use the capabilities of artificial intelligence. The number of professions where AI is used is growing rapidly," he said.

According to the research hh.ru and NTI (2025), knowing how to use ChatGPT, Midjourney and similar tools can add 10-20% to your salary.

"Neural networks are already simplifying a variety of tasks in office work. They can automatically prepare reports, compose business letters, generate initial ideas, draft documents, and even propose a meeting or project plan. The defining skills in the coming years will be the ability to work with artificial intelligence and digital services. You don't have to be a programmer — it's important to understand how to integrate AI into your daily activities, from content generation to data analysis," the expert explained.

In addition, broad systems thinking is increasingly in demand — the ability not just to follow instructions, but to see the essence of a task, find non-standard solutions, make decisions in uncertainty, and effectively manage projects and teams.

"Communication and developed emotional intelligence are becoming the third key skill. This is something that machines cannot yet do: the ability to hear the interlocutor, negotiate, explain complex things in simple words, inspire and build trust. Finally, adaptability cannot be ignored — the flexibility of thinking, the willingness to change, the desire to learn, and the ability to change directions in time if the situation requires it. The world is becoming less stable, but if you can quickly rebuild, you gain a competitive advantage," Yerkhov explained.

To implement these skills in your life, you should set aside at least 20 minutes a day for learning: watching videos, taking mini-courses, reading articles.

"Look carefully at your field, where you can become stronger today. An accountant will need tools for data visualization and analysis. To the sales manager, neural networks are used to prepare commercial proposals and presentations. The HR specialist will benefit from chatbots and response generators for processing responses. Opportunities are all around, you just have to want to take advantage of them. Those who are open to change will always be in demand. The future is not only about technology, but also about people who know how to use it. Age and profession are not an obstacle. If you study and develop, there will always be a job for you," he concluded.

On March 24, it was reported that AI is used in voice assistants, generates images and processes photos, and is represented in chatbots by a wide variety of organizations - banks, mobile operators. Many respondents are actively interested in smart home devices: speakers, robot vacuum cleaners, light bulbs, and smart watches are clearly perceived as a neural network.
