UAV crews of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed two armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed two Western-made armored combat vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in the special operation area. This was reported on August 4 in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Russian soldiers from the 4th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle brigade of the 3rd Combined Arms Army used an attack drone to destroy an American MaxxPro armored vehicle of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Ivanopolya.

In turn, the UAV crew of the 98th Guards Airborne Division in the area of Novodmitrovka neutralized the FV103 Spartan armored personnel carrier, and then destroyed it with pinpoint strikes.

Having lost armored vehicles and supplies, the Ukrainian units were forced to retreat, which allowed the military of the Southern Group of Forces to advance deep into enemy positions.

Attack drones control the territories near the front, identifying and destroying enemy armored vehicles. This makes it difficult to supply the enemy, which contributes to the success of infantry offensives.

On August 2, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the gunners of the 29th army of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the control points of the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was clarified that the artillery calculations inflicted precise strikes on targets, as a result of which the objects were completely destroyed.
