In Derbent, an investigation is underway into the fall of a tree, as a result of which one woman was killed and two others were injured. This was reported on August 3 in the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan.

"In Derbent, a tree fell on three women near the Juma Mosque. As a result of the fall of a tree, one woman died, two more were taken to a medical facility," the department's Telegram channel says.

The Derbent interdistrict investigative Department of the SU IC of Russia organized an inspection. All the circumstances of the incident are being established, including the causes of the tree fall.
