Almost 150 aftershocks (repeated seismic tremors observed after the main earthquake) were recorded in Kamchatka. This was announced on August 2 in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Kamchatka Territory.

"146 aftershocks of magnitude from 3.2 to 6.2 occurred during the day," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.

It is specified that in 20 settlements the strength of some aftershocks was felt in the range from 2.0 to 5.0 points.

In addition, the ministry noted that currently over 160 people are located in temporary accommodation facilities, where psychologists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation are working with them.
