Flight attendants sued Boeing over the loss of the aircraft's emergency door
Four Alaska Airlines flight attendants sued Boeing over the loss of the emergency door of the MAX 9 aircraft in the air in January 2024. This was reported by the Reuters news agency on August 1.
"In separate lawsuits, they demand compensation for past and future economic losses, citing physical and mental injuries, emotional suffering and other financial costs," the material says.
According to the agency, Boeing is accused of negligence and failure to exercise reasonable care in the manufacture, sale and repair of 737 MAX aircraft and their spare parts.
On July 19, the BBC reported that the engine of a Delta Boeing 767-400 on a Los Angeles-Atlanta flight caught fire immediately after departure. It is specified that the aircraft circled and landed safely on the runway.
