"You should not limit yourself to special job search sites and freelance exchanges — these are more likely options for beginners. It is better to use several channels at once," the specialist noted.

According to him, you can start with thematic chats and ads in messengers. For example, copywriters should study profile communities on social networks. You can also contact friends who work in this field.

Another effective way is to create a business card website with services and attend industry events.

"IT specialists can use platforms like Professionals 4.0, where customers are looking for employees for a project," he said.

Before actively searching for a job, it is important to update your portfolio: add cases with results in numbers and adapt them to specific requests. It is better to choose the 2-3 most relevant projects. Employers look at what is close to their tasks.

After preparation, you need to respond to several suggestions every day. The main rule is to respond actively, so that there is plenty to choose from later.

"It is better to formalize self-employment so that future freelance projects are documented. This will help to avoid unnecessary risks. And be sure to remember: first, the contract, then everything else," Avdeev summed up.
